Museum of 1 Polish Army Ingeneers in Gozdowice is open from
15 april to 15 september from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is closed on mondays and next day after holydays.
Museum is located in the buliding that was a headquarter of Polish 1 Army commanders during the battles near Odra river in 1945.
In museum you can find some remains after battles that toke place in Gozdowice in april 1945. Than Polish First Army together with Russian Red Army was shifted to the front on the Odra River in preparation to move towards Berlin.
Outside the building are placed some army boats used in 1945 to shift on the Odra.
8 Kilometers from Gozdowice in village Siekierki you can visit Military Cementary and monument-tank (Russian "Is-2") from WW II.
